The Leadership Development Program (LDP) created by the Colorado Crimson Group, is a custom made program created and designed to teach and reinforce the leadership principles that have been so successful for the past 500 years. The program is so successful because of the accountability taught and demanded from each of the students. Normally, employees receive a training session that lasts for a day, possibly two. After that they are on their own to internalize the information. A very small percentage of the attendees do that. The rest, usually take the information they learned, think about it for an afternoon, and then take the workbook they were given and throw it in the bottom right-hand drawer of their desk – never to be seen again.
This six-month leadership development program supports individuals with training sessions, exercises, coaching sessions, and evaluations all designed to keep the information in the forefront of their minds so they develop leadership habits that will stay with them for the rest of their professional life.
At the bottom of this page is a hyper link that will allow you to download the basics of the program we have, but this is the “plan on the shelf” so to speak. It works great, but you may want to customize a certain part of it to fit your mission. You may want it longer to enhance the learning portions or you may want to substitute topics you feel need to be emphasized. We are glad to help in any way we can to develop a comprehensive leadership program that works best for you and your employees.
To prevent any misunderstanding, this is NOT your standard “Leadership seminar.” This program requires additional work from your employees who attend. Attending six interactive classes, a minimum of two coaching sessions a month, book reports monthly, and preparation for exercises will take real time and effort on their part. But there is no substitute for actually doing this work in order to obtain the results everyone wants.
